Should I use the strips or the gel?
Both!! - our Silicone Scar Sheets and Silicone Scar Gel offer unique benefits for managing C-section scars, and they work well together for optimal results.
The Silicone Scar Sheets provide a convenient "set and forget" solution, making them ideal for the early stages of parenthood when you’re busy caring for your newborn. They protect the scar from rubbing, bacteria, and injury while also keeping it hydrated, which promotes healing.
On the other hand, the Silicone Scar Gel is excellent for further enhancing scar healing once the initial healing phase is complete. It actively promotes healing and improves the appearance of the scar with its nourishing ingredients.
We recommend starting with the silicone strips for the best initial protection and convenience, and then incorporating the gel as you progress in your recovery. This combination will ensure you're taking comprehensive care of your scar throughout your journey.
